Product Description

The Polaroid Microphone features a highly sensitive electrets condenser directional microphone. This extremely lightweight Polaroid hypercardioid shotgun microphone is ideal for its role as an alternative to a handheld microphone with its narrow pickup angle and a tight cardioids polar pattern. This microphone was designed to be most sensitive to sound coming directly into the front of the barrel. Sounds from the side and rear are greatly attenuated. The camera & camcorder need to have a microphone 3.5mm plug in jack. It connects to the camera with a single cord with a three conductor audio plug.

Inside the body, two miniature button batteries will provide up to 100hrs of continual use. Outside the body, you will find on/off and attenuation switches. Also included is a windscreen which will greatly silence wind use when using the microphone outdoors. To prevent equipment noise, the microphone is suspended within four vibration absorbing elastic bands in the center of its mount.
